But this drawing is the real reason for doing the assignment. I wanted to steal from van gogh but also from I think Klee. It might be someone else I'm thinking of. As you said in lecture. You collect things, let them rattle around in your brain a while and then let them escape into your art.
I'm in a pen sketching phase so I chose a Paul Klee angel to steal from. It's not the exact drawing I wanted to copy, but I couldn't find the book with the image I wanted. I think I gave it away. There are a lot of differences. Mainly to do with shape. The more interesting one for me is that my lines are a bit jagged. I think this may be due to age and my hands not being as steady as they used to be.
