1. Schedule - Installation to take place between two dates December 21, 2001 and June 22, 2002, winter and summer solstice respectively. Project commences at dawn (subject to seasonal variation) on the above mentioned dates at the Louvre Pyramid at dawn with section 72, Man's Disproportion from Pascal's Penées. It will be distributed and recorded poetically over the immediate vicinity. Then artist will proceed in a spiral pattern sequentially though each arrondissement of Paris leaving and documenting the rest of the cut up text. The remaining text will be chosen by chance correspondence with the environment. Travel will by foot, metro or taxi depending on timing and fatigue. All recording by artist of installation while distributing text will be by digital photos. All video will filmed while in transit. All other documentation is subject to chance. At any moment anyone can ask for some or all of the particularized contents of Pascal's Penées and artist will give freely. Anyone regardless of direct authority can demand the removal of any or all particularized text. Any text so requested will be placed a separate container for clarity and saved for documentation rather then placed in another section of the city. Artist shall continue to distribute text and document distribution until12:00 midnight June 2001. At that point however close or far from the 20th arrondissement, the artist will stop, toss a lowest denominational coin available (euro). Heads - all unused text is saved for dossier. Tails- all is tossed to the wind (excepting in a case where the removal of materials is requested). The artist will then proceed to the nearest pleasant cafe and drink to the health of all that read this schedule and the health of all who don't.

336. The reason of effects.- We must keep our thought secret, and judge everything by it, while talking like the people.

Yes; but you must wager. It is not optional. You are embarked. Which will you choose then? Let us see. Since you must choose, let us see which interests you least. You have two things to lose, the true and the good; and two things to stake, your reason and your will...

373. Scepticism.- I shall here write my thoughts without order, and not perhaps in unintentional confusion; that is true order, which will always indicate my object by its very disorder. I should do too much honour to my subject, if I treated it with order, since I want to show that it is incapable of it.
